You Are Meant To Move Mountains! 
Do you know what strong willpower can do? It can do magic! 

I have always been fascinated with the saying that a strong belief can move mountains and I am proud to say that DAV has yet again started a movement — a movement that depicts strong willpower and perseverance — DAV United Cricket League(DUCL). It all started on a Sunday morning, two and a half years ago when a bunch of DAV alumni started to play cricket with a tennis ball. That is when the whole idea of bringing alumni back, a series of cricket matches happened. The whole cricket series has become a movement with the formation of India’s biggest alumni cricket league. 
 
This year in DUCL, 32 teams comprising 400 alumni players played 90 matches in total. This is what is called the ‘Power of Dreams’. DAV United Cricket League is leading by example. The perfect combination of dreams, passion, patience, and perseverance can create a movement of its own. The never-give-up attitude is something that can take you places, this is what happened with DUCL which has become so big that it is a league in itself now. The fact that the first ever league this big has been one of its kind and a very new concept in itself. 
 
I am amazed by the fact that it is a matter of time that DAV has been creating a niche for itself and this shows how big this can go with consistent efforts. Other sports are yet to be explored, once that’s done, I am sure the whole movement will blow up and grow into something very unique. 
 
We should not ignore the power of patience, be it in personal life, professional life or at any phase in life. Be it a small step, if needed, take it in the wake of feeling of contentment. Carve your own way forward and give wings to your aspirations and there will be a moment when you will feel on top of the world with a name of your own and a might of your own. 
 
DAV has always been a thinker which led to the formation of DAV United — a unique concept of keeping alumni connected, was a step too unique that the whole network of DAV believes in it. We keep on planning things to keep the whole family connected. Thus, to end on a good note, I wish to extend my warm wishes to the team and the efforts that have been put in to reach new milestone yet again!
